Found a photo from last year of a sketch that I never finished… I always work with two windows of the same painting, painting in one window and watching the result scaled down in the other one.
Have to finish this one soon.

Some times I can sit for days trying to make a portrait and ending up throwing it away.
Other times I’m lucky, I think the secret is to not over work it, just wing it:)

Lately I had the honor to work with Skeleton Birth, former MACHINE and their upcoming album.
For now I can just show the new logo, I worked from the old Machine logo by Henrik Alfredsson and made it a bit more Skeleton Birth.

It’s no longer a secret that we yesterday got the news that HCL in Juli will start to shut down the site here in Växjö. So it’s time for me to move on and do something new, so if anyone knows or hear anything about any job openings that will suit me I might just be interested.

Ironically I earlier this month already decided to fight my way in to the outdoor business with my art.

I’ve already started to work on new projects and from now on I’ll update the site and blog more frequently.

Soon a limited number of signed and numbered A-3 prints of some of my paintings will be for sale and at the moment I’m working on 5 brand new fly fishing motifs.

Another new thing is that last week www.morbidiousart.com also became www.JonasSwahn.com

I look forward to spend time working with what I love the most and I look forward to work with people that share the same passion for the wild.

So please help me to get the word out there, I’m thankful for each and every “like” and “share” and stay tuned for updates.
