the 29th of August I worked my last day Gtech / HCL, it’s been some good years and I’m thankful for all the great people I met thru the years. It’s time to go on and I’m looking forward to see what the future will bring. For now I’m unemployed but will start to work extra by hour at SVT Design as Graphic Artist working with information graphics. I really look forward to this, it’s gonna be awesome!!!

this is frame from one of the test animations I did, really fun to do something new.

Made some sketches just for fun on a logo for Växjö Country Roots festival.
This is not the official logo just my suggestion how it could look like, my idea was one star for each artist, clever, right?
The guys that are working with the festival is doing a great job and I think the festival gonna be awesome…

Yesterday I worked my last day at HCL / Gtech, a little scary but yet exciting to see where I’ll end up.
I’m really looking forward to spend time working on my portfolio and looking for a new job.

Found this lovely weim-puppy, Ason Duke on the Weimaraner group on FB and I just had to do a portrait of him.
Here’s the first sketch / wip.

Between work, freelancing, job searching, banjo playing and everything else I try to get things done that I had in mind for a long time. The Weimaraner “logo” I had in mind for years and now I finally made a sketch, I just love the silhouette of a pointing weim. The thought is to make some prints and maybe some t-shirts for the weim lover, but we’ll see about that, anyway, here’s some sketches.

and think I have to rest up a lil, so inspired of James Gurney’s blog post about Eugène Burnand’s World War I Portraits I started on a portrait study training my portrait skills. So here we go, wip1 of this one, another bed painting, night folks.

today I’m developing the sad girl painting to a full figure painting for the upcoming Skeleton Birth video.
Found an interesting site with anatomy drawing tutorials that I wanted to share.
It’s in moments like this I really miss teaching digital and traditional arts… but who knows maybe one day I’ll be back teaching.

Working with the graphic profile for Jennie Louise’s Dames And Dukes salon, Hendersson, Las Vegas.
Here’s an add, the FB banner and a wip of the Duke poster that will come with some gold paint details.
Darn it, the mask leaked when I painted the blades and then the cat stepped on it, well will fix a new one this weekend.
